After the first images revealed last July, season 2 of The Witcher is revealed a little more with two extracts and a new trailer! The second season will be available on December 17th on Netflix.
After a first season that had divided fans, The Witcher will be back on December 17 for a second batch of episodes! On the occasion of the “Tudum” event, dedicated to Netflix fans, the platform unveiled new impressive images from season 2.
On this first extract, Geralt de Riv, still played by Henry Cavill, wakes Ciri (Freya Allan) to tell her to run away. Indeed, a horrible monster has invaded the house and the witcher must face it. He is ready to do anything to protect the young woman, armed with his sword.
This monster is a Brouxe. They are present in The Witcher games. This creature can be seen as both Beauty and The Beast: a female vampire with a superb body and an insatiable appetite for blood. The Brouxe is dangerous for three reasons: she is incredibly agile, resistant to steel, and she is a manipulator capable of bending any man to her will.
In a second extract, Geralt reconnects with his old friend Nivellen. Annoyed, he shows her that he has not lost all his skill with a knife!
Finally, Netflix spoiled fans with a 3-minute trailer, revealing a bit more of what is at stake for this second season.
