The Witcher 3 is coming back to next-gen consoles very soon with a slew of fixes. More than the graphics, mechanics hated by players will also be corrected.

Postponed several times, the PS5 versions and Xbox Series of The Witcher 3 in a week all stack. L’upgrade free for all those who already have the game will bring its share of technical and graphic improvements above all, but some changes are also to be expected on the gameplay side.

Within a few years, the series The Witcher experienced a resurgence thanks to the third opus. In 2015, CD Projekt RED launched on the market one of the best open-world of this time. Seven years later, the game and its two extensions will experience a second youth on PS5, Xbox Series and pc. A completely free next-gen update that will add a whole bunch of small changes designed to improve the player experience. And among these modifications, the Polish studio will take the opportunity to correct one of the most recurring criticisms of The Witcher 3.

It was Philipp Weber, in charge of narration and quests on the studio’s productions, who announced the good news, which had gone unnoticed until then. He indeed confirmed in the wake of the presentation that the PS5 and Xbox Series of The Witcher 3 would scale down Geralt’s fall damage. Many people have unfortunately fallen a little too high to complain about this mechanism, which is too punitive in their eyes. It will nevertheless be necessary to wait until December 14 to know the extent of this change in order to know if it is so saving as that.
