The Witcher 3: a first patch to save the game on PC

The Witcher 3 is getting a new patch on PC to finally make the game perfectly playable and hopefully crash free. You should finally be saved.

Despite a major resurgence in popularity and new success on Metacritic, The Witcher 3 is giving some players a hard time due to its new gen patch. Although generous, the latter is also very capricious, especially on PC where the game could literally be unplayable, or even not launch at all. But CD Projekt keeps watch, and as promised, a first hotfix has just arrived.

The Witcher 3 stabilizes on PC

Without going into details, the Polish studio has just announced the posting of a hotfix on PC to solve stability problems and improve performance. Normally, you should finally be rid of errors when launching the game and untimely crashes that could interrupt your game in progress. CD Projekt also takes this opportunity to point out that other patches will arrive later for all platforms.

We just released a fix for The Witcher 3 on PC, which should improve general stability and performance, and fix GOG overlays and Steam. The version of the game will not change. Our teams are working to further improve the experience on all platforms.

CD Projekt is therefore on the alert and will not drop its foal until it is perfectly stabilized. As with Cyberpunk 2077 which quickly had the right to huge updates shortly after its release, and continues to receive them today.
Rest assured therefore, the free new gen patch of The Witcher 3 is the center of attention at CD Projekt.
