The post on social media of a “reunion” photo has sparked rumors of a possible return of an iconic actor from the series “The Walking Dead”.
Absent since season 5, is Tyrese about to make his comeback in The Walking Dead? Not in the parent series of course, the character having died following a bite on the arm in the prison of West Georgia, but in the spin-off Tales of the Walking Dead!
Commissioned by AMC at the same time as the series on Daryl and Carol, Tales of the Walking Dead will take the form of an anthological tale, the opportunity to retrace new parts of history but also to come across faces well known to viewers. Without having to worry about any chronological continuity, the series could just as easily take place in the past (at the origins of the epidemic?) as in the near or distant future.
Therefore, any character of The Walking Dead could appear during an episode of Tales of the Walking Dead. And according to some rumors, Tyrese could notably make his return to the franchise on this occasion. His interpreter Chad Coleman has indeed posted on social networks a photo taken in the company of Michael E. Satrazemis, the director chosen to direct the first episode of this new series.
Is it just a chance meeting between the two men, which the 47-year-old actor wanted to share on social networks? Or is it, on the contrary, a teaser on a possible return of Tyrese in the universe? The Walking Dead ? Currently filming in the Atlanta area (State of Georgia) the anthology Tales of the Walking Dead is expected on AMC for the current year 2023.
