The Tinder Scammer: new cardboard for Netflix
The twists are linked around The Tinder Scammer. Available since February 2 on Netflix, this documentary directed by Felicity Morris reveals the diabolical plan put in place by a certain Simon Leviev. For years, this individual has presented as the son of a billionaire diamond dealer on Tinder. Passing himself off as a businessman with a busy schedule and traveling around the world, he seduced women in several countries, setting up a Ponzi scheme.
For years, Simon Leviev led a royal lifestyle by extracting no less than ten million dollars to its victims. Some of them who testified in the documentary are still repaying colossal debts caused by this fake prince charming. First banned by the dating application, the accused has since come out of silence, after signing with an American talent agency.

Asked by Inside Edition, Simon Leviev recently denied all the charges against him in the feature film and denied being “the Tinder scammer”. He also said:
I am a legitimate businessman. I bought Bitcoin in 2011 which was worth nothing then, I don’t need to say how much it’s worth now. (…) I am not a fraud, I am not an impostor. People don’t know me so they can’t judge me. I am the greatest gentleman in the world.
Simon Leviev’s bodyguard claims a crazy amount
A point of view that apparently does not share a member of his entourage. Tuesday, February 22, 2022, DailyMail reported that Piotr Kaluski, Simon Leviev’s bodyguard, allegedly too was a victim of the scammer. The latter owes him $10,000 in unpaid wages. The security professional also disputes the portrait that the documentary paints of him.
In the feature film, Kaluski appears as Leviev’s right-hand man, present when the scammer sends messages to his victims asking for money. On several occasions, his employer sends pictures of him bloodied and injured, claiming to be threatened. In a letter sent to TMZ, the lawyer of Piotr Kaluski affirms for his part that his client would never have been the accomplice of Simon Leviev. It states in particular, quoted by Capital :
(Piotr Kaluski was) not involved in the project depicted in the documentary, had no knowledge of his employer’s financial activities and could not be associated in any way with the allegations made.
In addition to requesting the withdrawal of The Tinder Scammer from his platform, Piotr Kaluski demands a public apology from Netflix, as well as the sum of 4.9 million euros.
