On the official Twitter account the anime adaptation of »Blue Lock« was released today and announced that it will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 2022. You can check out a new trailer and visual later in this article.

»Blue Lock« is being produced at Studio 8bit and directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe (»Powerful Pro Yakyuu«). Taku Kishimoto (»Ranking of Kings«) wrote the script and took over the series composition, while Jun Murayama (ending theme »Re-Main«) composed the music.
The main roles will include Kazuki Ura (Shouta Doi in »World’s End Harem«) as Yoichi Isagi and Tasuku Kaito (Kohaku Oukawa in »Ensemble Stars!!«) as Meguru Bachira. We have tabulated the full Japanese cast below.
»Blue Lock« adapts the manga series of the same name by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura, which has been published in »Weekly Shounen Magazine« since August 2018. In Germany, the work has been published by KAZÉ Manga since November 2021 with a German translation.
