SEGA continues to celebrate 30 years of Sonic the Hedgehog in music, and unveils the improbable crossover between the universe of Sonic Adventure 2 and the timbre of the delicious Lyn.
The thirtieth anniversary of Sonic will be in music or not: after unveiling the main lines of Sonic Frontiers at the Game Awards 2021, SEGA continues the momentum of the big concert made public this summer. After having been able to discover orchestral versions then resolutely saturated with the musics of the series, here is that the famous mascot invites … Lyn, the famous singer of Persona 5. And that, you did not see it coming.

It’s certain the official YouTube channel of Sonic the Hedgehog that SEGA has therefore proposed this astonishing mix of genres. With its slapped bass and electrified guitars, the original version of the first level of Sonic Adventure 2 a priori ticked all the boxes to marry with the now so recognizable timbre of the one who interpreted so brilliantly the many songs of the J-RPG of a whole generation of consoles.
