The Sims 4: a feature requested for 8 years finally arrives

The Sims 5 aka Project Rene has finally been unveiled. A project that wants to be the most ambitious of the franchise to date and which therefore requires more time than usual. The Sims 4 therefore still have a bright future ahead of them and Maxis has some nice surprises in store for fans for next year. The studio has teased future content of the game and there is in the lot a feature requested by the players since its release, that is to say eight years.

Babies soon to be free in The Sims 4

2023 will be another year rich in content for The Sims 4 players. While Maxis is working on the future license game, some of the teams will continue to monitor the now free-to-play title in its version of base. Starting next year, fans will be able to purchase new packs that have been teased at the Behind The Sims Summit. On the program, two new worlds and a whole bunch of new objects and content. Better still, the developers finally seem ready to deliver what the community has been asking for eight years: toddlers will finally be able to get out of their crib.

Sims 4 babies 2023

When The Sims 4 came out, fans had indeed expressed their disappointment. Babies were confined with the inability to move around or interact with objects. A choice that will therefore have taken several years to be corrected, but an update or a pack will arrive in 2023 to correct the situation. Considering the few clues deposited in the trailer illustrating the roadmap of the game, it looks like Maxis is planning something centered around different ages. Baby clinging to the back of his mother, dentures in the glass and toddler finally free and who can go play in a park, the developers leave little room for doubt. Whatever form it takes, it will happen in early 2023.
