At the end of April, Shining Girls arrives on the Apple TV+ streaming platform. Before finding Elizabeth Moss in search of her attacker at the heart of the series, here she is terrified but determined in the trailer.
Elizabeth Moss, TV series star
Continually lining up nominations for the Emmy Awards or other prestigious ceremonies, Elizabeth Moss is one of the most talented actresses on the small screen. During his career, she twice won a Golden Globe to reward her work as an actress. One in the miniseries Top of the Lake in 2014, then a second, four years later, for his performance in the drama series The Handmaid’s Tale: The Scarlet Maid in 2018.
Elizabeth Moss seems particularly fond of twisted scripts. It is not for nothing that in 2020 (French release), she is the headliner of the horror film Invisible Man, where she feels the presence of a totally invisible man as the name of the feature film suggests. This time, for the series The Shining Girls, she portrays a Chicago journalist who is the victim of a violent attack. Kirby, accompanied by Dan (Wagner Moura), will investigate his attacker.

Coming soon to Apple TV+
Apple TV+ unveils a trailer (in one article) that is both brutal and cold. The past and the present merge, while the murders multiply year after year. A serial killer rages and tracks his prey. The victims are linked, and the mysteries add up as time is running out before new victims. A thriller that also stars Phillipa Soo and Jamie Bell.
With The Shining Girlsdesigner, Silka Luisa adapts the bestseller The Luminous of Lauren Beukes. It will therefore be a question of time travel. That of this deranged assassin, who shatters space-time in search of his female targets.
While Silka Luisa and Elizabeth Moss are both producers of the series, another very well-known name appears as executive producer, in the person of Leonardo DiCaprio. The Shining Girls releases April 29 on Apple TV+.
