Supermassive Games may have its eyes set on The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, but it doesn’t forget to deliver on its promises. The studio has finally rolled out the multiplayer mode of The Quarrywhich had missed the release of the game needing more time to polish.
The multiplayer of The Quarry available
The Quarry updates to bring multiplayer mode. Originally planned for the launch of the game, the feature was finally pushed back a few weeks before its release. It is now possible to play this horrific adventure with several people while being remote. To do this, it is enough for one of the participants to invite all the other players to join him. Unlike local co-op mode, not everyone will control a character. Only the host can. On the other hand, everyone participates in decision-making via a poll, like the streamer mode that can be found in other narrative productions.
Icing on the cake, the new update of The Quarry also allows owners of the Deluxe Edition to dress up the monitors with outfits in an 80’s look. For others, they are available for purchase via DLC. Another notable addition, players can now immerse themselves deeper into the game’s story by listening to six episodes of the Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast, listened to by Ryan in-game.
