A month and a half after the launch of the new Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack formula, the manufacturer (already) announces the continuation of the program.
This is what is called knowing how to spare the goat and the cabbage: while the first additional game from the Nintendo 64 catalog arrives on December 10 in the game library of subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online service + Additional Pack, a classic of the 3D platform will soon come to challenge the intestable Super Mario 64:
Just at the Banjo-Kazooie
You guessed it: after Paper Mario, it’s Banjo-Kazooie that will integrate the subscription in January 2022. Its arrival is no surprise in itself, as Rare’s 3D platformer was already on the list of the first upcoming titles, alongside The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Pokémon Snap, Mario Golf and Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards.
Released in the middle of summer 1998, Banjo-Kazooie does not get along as a simple response to Nintendo’s masterpiece, it is also one of the titles that have taken the concept oh so time-consuming of the collect-a-thon, which requires collecting more and more items to progress. Fortunately, the transformations of the sorcerer Mumbo Jumbo are there to break the routine!
By expanding “quickly” the catalog of Nintendo Switch Online, the manufacturer may try to take of course the possible critics who complain about the lack of updates of the service. In December 2019, the company announced the end of monthly game additions, to prefer case by case … So who will be next?
