While “Hawkeye” arrives on the Disney + platform on November 24, the next fiction from Marvel studios, “Ms. Marvel”, is again postponed.
She is long overdue. First scheduled for fall 2021, then postponed to 2022, the Ms. Marvel series – which marks the heroine’s first appearance on the screen – is again postponed. Christine McCarthy, president of Disney +, said the fiction should not be released until the end of 2022. “The 4th quarter will be the first time in the history of the platform that we will release only original content throughout the quarter, whether for Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and NatGeo. All this in one quarter. This includes headlines like Ms. Marvel, Andor and Pinocchio. ”
While some hoped to see the program land during the first half of the year, Marvel studios seem to want to prioritize cinema releases, such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, expected for May 4, 2022 in France, and Thor: Love And Thunder, scheduled for July 13.
In Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American woman fascinated by superheroes, especially Captain Marvel. Her fate will radically change the day she finds out that she too is endowed with extraordinary abilities. Alongside the young actress, in which she is the first role, the cast is made up of Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, and Nimra Bucha.
