As after all previous episodes of “The Rings of Power”, there is also a trailer for Episode 6, which should start automatically if you look at the end credits of Episode 5 for a few seconds. Otherwise you can also find the preview on the “Rings of Power” page on Prime Video under “Extras” and then “Bonus”.
We had actually expected it for episode 5, but in episode 6 it will actually be so far: There is a fight between the people who have entrenched themselves in the watchtower Ostirith together with Elb Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova) and Adar (Joseph Mawle) and his orcs, which have now been joined by some of the humans around Waldreg (Geoff Morrell).
And this battle is bound to be quite epic, as Miriel’s (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) army will also be involved. Miriel is pictured in the trailer with Arondir – so the ships from Númenor have landed on the shores of Middle-earth and Miriel, Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and Halbrand (Charlie Vickers) rush to the aid of the people of the Southlands against the overwhelming enemy.
Preparations for battle and the battle itself are likely to take up a large part of Episode 6 – The trailer does not reveal whether there will also be new developments in the other storylines. Neither Elrond (Robert Aramayo) and the Dwarves nor Nori (Markella Kavenagh) and the Stranger (Daniel Weyman) appear in the preview.
With only three episodes left in the first season of The Rings of Power, we still don’t even know where Meteorite Man is headed. The mystery surrounding this character is one of the biggest in the series to date – but we’re now pretty sure he’s not Sauron.
