Postponed for a year and now expected for 2022, the game “The Lord of The Rings – Gollum”, in which the player will play the former hobbit Sméagol in his quest to find the One Ring, continues to be revealed with new images.
Scheduled for 2022 without further details, the game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, developed by Daedalic Entertainment in partnership with Middle-earth Enterprises, the beneficiary who manages the legacy of JRR Tolkien, unveiled last night, during the Game Awards ceremony, new images.
As a reminder, the player will play the former hobbit Sméagol, alias Gollum, in his quest to find the One Ring that Bilbo stole from him and which is now in Frodo’s possession. The action will begin in the heart of Mordor, in the fortress of Barad-Dur, from which Gollum seeks to escape, and will continue in parallel with the events described in the trilogy.
Mainly based on the concept of infiltration, it will also be necessary to fight against the different personalities of the creature, perverted by the power of the One Ring. To highlight this aspect of the game, the developers have announced that there will be moral choices to be made, based on the different personalities of Gollum.
