After The Live Thriller, the Borderlive team offers a new original immersive experience in Paris. On the program: a robbery, dealers, drugs and cyber hacking!
It takes place in a quiet street in the 12th arrondissement. We meet you in front of the Black Lotus. Seen from the outside, the meeting point – with its all-black storefront and a simple pink neon above – looks like an infamous place. This is where the experience begins The Live Holdup. The tone is set from the start: everything looks truer than life!
You are immediately greeted by a hostess with a pronounced accent who immediately puts you in the bath. The Live Holdup, created by Rémy Aufray, Félix Carcone and Joris Aufray, guarantees you a fireworks display of emotions during an experience that lasts a little over two hours and in a universe very referenced to the cinema of the 80s and video games.
So here you are in an interloped bar with leather sofas and subdued lights. You’re going to have to team up to help Fiesta. The young woman has taken the path of revenge against Doctor New. This advertiser, creator of Caniboula dog food, is actually one of the biggest drug dealers that can be found. A kind of 21st century Pablo Escobar, who had Fiesta’s father murdered.
She explains everything in the trailer:
For his revenge, Fiesta hatched a plan worthy of Ocean’s Eleven. You will have to infiltrate Doctor Nouveau’s headquarters incognito and bring down his empire. To do this, you will meet various colorful characters. Some are allies, others are enemies. They are embodied by truly stunning professional actors who never leave their character.
The hardest part in The Live Holdup is not believing it!
The scenario then unfolds according to the talent and reactions of the participants who are divided into three teams. The experience can accommodate up to 12 people simultaneously and can thus be experienced several times in order to discover all the aspects of this extremely well designed scenario.
As for the sets, you will not believe your eyes as everything seems straight out of a sweaty action movie, shot in Miami at the end of the 80’s. But we must not be distracted by this ultra polished universe for all that. The experience requires coolness, cunning, a sense of observation and also a certain talent for deceiving the interlocutor.
In the end, whether or not you have succeeded in helping Fiesta in his enterprise against Doctor Nouveau, you will have experienced a real-false heist which will have you strangely disoriented, unlike the sometimes a little too “shy” escape games which can be offered.
The Live Holdup, an immersive experience to live!
