No question, the “Hellraiser” series is cult. But when you make or hear this statement, it’s mostly about the first two parts, “Hellraiser – The Gate to Hell” from 1987 and “Hellbound: Hellraiser II” from 1988, which are rightly called horror classics today be able. Everything that came after that was average at best, but also real junk at worst, some of which was only staged so that the production company wouldn’t lose the rights to the franchise.
In the meantime, the “Hellraiser” series has a total of ten parts, making it one of the longest-lived horror franchises ever, along with “Halloween” and “Friday the 13th”. Nevertheless, Pinhead fans have been looking into the tube for years when it comes to the latest “Hellraiser” film, because: “Hellraiser: Judgment” by Gary J. Tunnicliffe has never been released in this country, neither on Blu-ray or DVD nor in stream. Until now!
“Hellraiser: Judgment” has now quietly appeared in Joyn’s subscription, which is quite surprising.
