Almost every day is now a pretext to talk about the television adaptation of The Last of Us. And if today there is no question of Joel, Ellie or even Neil Druckmann, the series still finds the way to talk about her.
Those who survived the dramas of The Last of Us and its sequel know how the infected of the post-apocalyptic Naughty Dog universe are to be feared. But deep down, there is always worse than Clickers and other dead bodies in a state of advanced decomposition: there are humans.
FEDRA, tiger head!
From there to saying that the more or less regular armed forces of Uncle Sam represent a threat at least as serious, there is only one step, which we will take without difficulty. And if the Federal Disaster Response Agency (or FEDRA in its original version, for Federal Disaster Response Agency) is only very rarely seen in the first episode of The Last of Us, the faction will indeed be represented in the HBO series:
You will have understood it at the sight of this simple patch: the FEDRA will be in one way or another present in the series The Last of Us, an additional clue which testifies to the few freedoms that the writers intend to allow themselves with the base material.
Here comes a new challenger
But that’s not all, since the long list of participants in the adventure continues to grow. The presenter and incidentally specialist journalist Mike Yawney took the opportunity to also announce his participation in the project, without going into details:
As far as my news is concerned … I’m very excited to finally be able to reveal that I started working on HBO’s The Last of Us series today. I really love the game, so this project should fit me like a glove. Contracts and confidentiality agreements prevent me from saying more … but I’m glad to be.
Chance of the calendar or not, Yawney joins the team of The Last of Us as director and screenwriter Neil Druckmann was saying goodbye to Canada. The filming of the series will continue there for some time yet, among the Codryceps, who are called here “magic mushrooms“…
