The announcements and other information disseminated about The Last of Us series so far have mainly concerned characters well known to the players. The production of this series, however, has never hidden that it will not offer an identical transposition of the games of Naughty Dog. The differences will go in part through the presence of characters created especially for the occasion.
A character created for HBO’s The Last of Us series has just been unveiled. And this is not a question of a formal casting announcement. Indeed, it is the actress concerned who revealed the thing on her personal Instagram profile.
This actress is Natasha Mumba. Zambian actress shows on her profile Instagram that she plays a certain Kim Tembo in The Last of Us. Unfortunately for the curious, Natasha Mumba does not reveal more about this mysterious Kim Tembo. The fact that other comedians in the series are following her on Instagram, however, seems to indicate that she is well involved in the series.
As a reminder, Kim Tembo is not the only new character created especially for the series The Last of Us. Three characters of this adaptation absent from the games were revealed last July. Played by Jeffrey Pierce, Murray Bartlett and Con O’Neil, these characters will be called Perry, Frank and Bill respectively.
The Last of Us series is not a copy of the games
These additions to the cast of The Last of Us series may come as a surprise. Neil Druckmann, however, has never hidden that there will be differences between the games and the series. For example, he said that the series will tell stories “slightly different. “
