Canal + has announced the start of filming for season 2 of “La Flamme” titled “Les Aventuriers de Chupacabra”. Discover the first info and the cast of this next season.
The flame, the brilliant comedy of Canal +
The flame is one of the recent successes of Canal +. Created by Jonathan Cohen, Jérémie Galan and Florent Bernard, the series is a reality show parody Bachelor – and also a remake of Burning Love. We follow it like this Marc (Jonathan Cohen) in a superb villa with magnificent young women to conquer it. The series is totally offbeat and absurd with absolutely hilarious passages – see our review.
The flame was broadcast on October 12, 2020 on Canal + and was a real success for the channel. We all hoped that a season 2 would see the light of day, but difficult to continue with the same concept without risking wearying the spectators. Reason why Canal + decided to take a new direction parodying another well-known genre.
On the program for season 2
Indeed, Canal + has announced the start of filming of season 2 of The flame for a period of two months. This will be titled The Flame – The Adventurers of Chupacabra. Change of scenery, then, and direction a desert island. We will find Marc and 15 other candidates there who will have to face each other in physical tests, and survive a dangerous environment. You will understand, after having parodied The Bachelor, it is the turn of Koh Lanta to be an inspiration to the series.
On the casting side, several performers from season 1 will be back, while new faces will make their first appearances in The Flame – The Adventurers of Chupacabra. For now, here are the names announced by Canal +: Géraldine Nakache, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Leïla Bekhti, Ana Girardot, Ramzy Bedia, Camille Chamoux, Pierre Niney, Natacha Lindinger, Jonathan Lambert, Kad Merad, Mister V, Laura Felpin, Thomas Scimeca , Jérôme Commandeur, Gérard Darmon, Sébastien Chassagne … Although his name is not on this list, we obviously hope for the return of Vincent Dedienne, brilliant presenter of season 1 who would make an excellent Denis Brogniart.
Canal + has not specified a broadcast date for the moment.
