When the trailer for “Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo” was released in spring 2022, shortly before the Italian theatrical release, the fans of Bud Spencer (“Flatfoot in Africa”) and Terence Hill (“The Supercop”) went on the barricades. Numerous angry comments were quickly found on the Internet. The very first remake of a classic by the slapstick duo is Frevel were the softer voices in a veritable shitstorm against the project. At the box office, the film was largely met with ignorance. Despite a great start, the cinema halls remained empty.
Netflix is now releasing the action comedy worldwide on August 24, 2022 – in Germany under the title “Zwei wie Pech und Sulfur” – the same title that graced the original.
The new “Two like bad luck and brimstone‘ is often referred to as a sequel, but also as a remake. Because he is both. The plot ties directly to the end of the old “Two as bad luck and brimstone”. The Kid played by Hill and Bud played by Spencer are still fighting over the beach buggy they’ve been bickering about throughout the film.

The new edition now shows that Ben’s sons were able to get their hands on the thing in the moment of the finale. But because they lose it again straight away, the hunt for the vehicle begins again many years later – the old story just repeats itself. But instead of Spencer and Hill, it’s now the two Italian stars Edoardo Pesce and Alessandro Roja who are fighting the quarrel. In addition, Pesce and Roja were made to look a bit like Spencer and Hill. The original stars are not involved, of course. Bud Spencer died in 2016 Terence Hill but is also not visible.
You will soon be able to see on Netflix whether the new “Zwei wie Pech undsulfid” can somehow tie in with the original and is really the outrage that some fans suspect behind it. From August 24, 2022, “Zwei wie Pech und Sulfur” will be available from the streaming giant. While the trailer that has been made available to us can unfortunately only be seen in the original version so far (but at least it clearly underlines the parallels to the original with pictures and music), there is the streaming service itself already has a German trailer.
