Netflix offers from June 20 the film “The Cataclysm of Love”. A romance from Turkey with Boran Kuzum and Pınar Deniz around personal development.
New Turkish Romance on Netflix
Netflix had created a surprise during confinement with 7. Koğuştaki Mucize. Nobody would have imagined in normal times that this turkish movie can be a hit on the platform. But its touching story and the health situation (confinement and closure of cinemas) have made it possible to put a hell of a spotlight on this work and on Turkish cinema. Two years later, it’s Rest life who went through a similar journey. The story of a single mother with an incurable disease who goes looking for a husband to ensure the future of her six-year-old son. Here again, the melodic aspect of the film directly affected subscribers.
As a result, like Korean cinema, we remain more and more attentive to productions from Turkey and offered by Netflix. The latest is called The Cataclysm of Love. As its title suggests, it is still about romance and beautiful feelings.
The film features Farit, a boy who works as an advertiser, but who finds himself in debt after the bankruptcy of his agency. To recover from this disappointment, her friend Melda takes her to recharge her batteries during a yoga. Despite his reluctance at first, he comes across Lydia, a beautiful singer which could change his life and help him in his personal development. But as we can see in the opening of the film (with Farit in tears on a wheelchair), the end could be tragic…
The meeting of Pinar Deniz and Boran Kuzum
The Cataclysm of Love should therefore attract subscribers for its romantic and dramatic history. But also for the presence in the casting of Pinar Deniz. The actress performs in the film Lydia. Before that, she had been noticed in another Netflix production. Indeed, the actress is in the cast of the series Love 101. In it, troubled teenagers see the only teacher who supports them about to change schools. To make her stay, they will do everything to make her fall in love and never leave town. It is therefore Pinar Deniz who embodies this teacher while Kaan Urgancıoğlu (Rest life) plays the man who could make her stay.
Facing Pinar Deniz, the revelation of cataclysm of love should be Boran Kuzum, who plays Farit. It would not be surprising if this duo marked the minds of subscribers. The film is to be discovered on netflix from June 20.
