“The Boys” will return on June 3 for a season 3. After a first teaser unveiled by Amazon Prime Video, discover a new image of Soldier Boy which will be introduced in the next episodes.
The Boys continue on Amazon
After two seasons particularly appreciated by the public and the press, The Boys will return soon to Amazon Prime Video for a season 3. The streaming service recently unveiled a first teaser to announce the broadcast date of the next episodes. The show will therefore return on June 3. We will thus find, among others, Stella (Erin Moriarty) and Homelander (Antony Starr), two superheroes of the Vought company. In the first season, the still naïve young woman discovered that the superheroes led by Homelander were nowhere near as virtuous as they want the public to believe. His meeting with Hughie (Jack Quaid) led him to play double agents to bring down the Group of Seven. A desire shared with Butcher (Karl Urban) with much less peaceful methods.
Soldier Boy reveals himself a little more
All these beautiful people will be back in season 3 of The Boys. But new faces have already been announced. Among them will be Soldier Boy, a character who, in the comics from which the series is drawn, is the leader of the Payback team and works alongside Stormfront. The latter was presented during season 2 in the guise of Aya Cash. Also in the comics, Soldier Boy is a real caricature of Captain America because extremely powerful but also very sensitive and innocent.
It is not yet known if its use in season 3 of The Boys will be the same as in the comics. The show created by Eric Kripke has already taken some liberties with the original work. We know, however, that it is Jensen ackles (supernatural) who will interpret it. The latter was revealed in the skin of the character last June. He appeared again in a visual shared by the Twitter account of The Boys. An image compared to a work by painter Jon McNaughton in which Soldier Boy presents himself shield in hand amid debris.
