New images of Robert Pattinson in uniform have been unveiled and his look fits perfectly into the dark universe of “The Batman”.
Batman rather metal than latex
Since Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson arrive on March 4 with The Batman and the intention to score a big blow, all the details will count. We have already seen the Batmobile, the sticky darkness of Gotham City at night, the disturbing look of the Riddler, and now we can learn a little more about the main character. Without her, Bruce Wayne wouldn’t be Batman, and she’s his first ally: the armor. Images revealed in the new issue of the magazine Total Movie thus show just what is needed from the superhero to give some elements on his vigilante outfit.
Batman doesn’t do anything like the others and tights haven’t really been part of his wardrobe for a long time. After the retro design and a traditional side with the black/yellow of Tim Burton, the almost whimsical armors, both awkward and muscular, of the batman forever and batman and robin, Christopher Nolan powerfully infused his aesthetic into the design. Metal, a look that is both raw and new, and as much black as possible.
The new images detail a little better the new armor worn by Pattinson, which thus fits into the aesthetics close to that of Nolan while brilliantly degrading it. The raw side is still there, but nothing new or expensive, on the contrary, there is an almost low-cost very attractive.

A perfect armor for The Batman
His chest emblem is made from parts of a handgun, and this spirit is found everywhere on the armor. Much less wide and stocky than that worn by Ben Affleck, apparently as athletic as that of Bale, it is total black. But with the emblem, the leather cape, and the mask bring like a mysterious past in armor and a marked identity. The Batman takes place in the first two years of activity of the superhero, and this Bruce Wayne does not seem at all to draw at leisure from his immense heritage to equip himself. Rather, he built his Batmobile himself, and his armor is made of salvaged metal plates.
In terms of equipment, there are smoke bombs on his belt and projectiles on his forearms. Note that his mask, designed to protect his anonymity as well as protect himself physically, appears very simple, worn, and in reality not very protective. If it appears solid and brutal, the armor as a whole may also present some weaknesses. Visually as symbolically, this armor of The Batman thus meets many expectations, and to avoid spoiling anything goes a priori like a glove to Robert Pattinson.
