“The Batman”, the future adaptation directed by Matt Reeves, has just been revealed a little more in a new filming video. This shows Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon discovering Batman’s Batmobile.
The batman : the expected return of the Dark Knight
While Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton to return as Batman on the occasion of The Flash, a new actor will soon don the Dark Knight costume on the big screen. Indeed, expected on March 2 at the cinema, The batman begins to make a lot of talk about him. This blockbuster, who will see Robert Pattinson donning the vigilante costume, is directed by Matt Reeves (who notably signed the last two films The Planet of the Apes).
In addition to Robert Pattinson, the rest of the cast, quite hallucinating otherwise, is notably composed of Paul Dano as Mystery Man, Colin Farrell in the clothes of the Penguin, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis in the role of butler Alfred, John Turturro in the skin of the gangster Falcone or even of Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
As a reminder, this new version will take viewers back to an older era. Matt Reeves promises a more violent movie than his predecessors, which will feature a young Bruce Wayne, still in his early days as Batman. The film will notably be inspired by excellent comics Batman: Year One, The Long Halloween and Batman: Ego.
A new behind-the-scenes video
After an explosive first trailer released a few weeks ago now, The batman never ceases to be talked about. A new behind-the-scenes video has just been published. This one features Inspector Gordon, played by Jeffrey Wright, join Batman in his secret lair.
The commissioner notably discovers the iconic Batmobile. The relationship between the two characters now goes back a very long time. Usually on the same side of justice, they work together regularly, even if they have already been adversaries. It remains to be seen how Matt Reeves plans to exploit their relationship in his film.. The character of Gordon will also be developed in his own series, centered on the Gotham font and titled Gotham City PD.
