Tekken 8: explosive gameplay to burst your retina, it's superb!

Tekken 8 and the whole Mishima family were honored by their presence at the most prestigious ceremony of the year. They were not on their 31, but they still had class.

As agreed, tekken 8 came to distribute some loaves during the Game Awards 2022. After a smashing trailer during the last State of Play, the long-awaited fighting game of fans returns with new gameplay sequences very nervous as we like them.

Tekken 8 impresses in an explosive trailer

tekken 8 has all the lights on green to be a hell of a breath of fresh air. The transition toUnreal Engine 5 foreshadowed fights with a totally crazy visual atmosphere, as well as an even more polished atmosphere and fluidity than usual. A reinforced impression from the first gameplay images released a few months ago. And the new gameplay sequences unveiled this night at the Game Awards 2022 will have fans of the license stamping their feet with impatience. It’s simply superb, ultra detailed, and it promises to be extremely violent. Everything we love.

If the franchise is inseparable from its two icons, it’s not just Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima in life. The trailer indeed reveals other emblematic characters of the license such as Kazuya, Jin, Paul, King, Law, Lars or even Jack-8.

As Katsuhiro Harada, producer of the saga, had mentioned, tekken 8 will also dust off certain game modes, while the story mode will make its big comeback.
As a reminder, this episode will once again put the father-son relationship at the heart of its story. The fighting game picks up right after the clashes that ended in Heihachi Mishima’s defeat. Jin Kazama opposes Kazuya Mishima’s ambition to dominate the world, giving rise to new family resentments that will lead to anthology fights.

tekken 8 however, does not yet have a release date, but is expected as early as 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series and pc.
