It’s progressing for “Tales of the Walking Dead”. The fourth spin-off of “The Walking Dead” has just revealed some of its cast. The series is scheduled for release this summer.
Always more zombies
It’s been more than ten years since AMC launched the series The Walking Dead. But after eleven seasons, the show will finally stop. It must be said that the zombies of the American channel have had their ups and downs. But despite the audience having been below for a few years now, AMC persevered and even began to develop a whole universe around it. Thus, the first spin-off fears the walking dead arrived in 2015 and revived the machine a bit. Then it was the turn of WorldBeyond launched in 2020. And while films and other series have been considered, the next most concrete project currently is called The Tales of the Walking Dead. A fourth spin-off will have the particularity of telling a different story in each episode.
In the cast of Tales of the Walking Dead
Each episode of Tales of the Walking Dead will focus on new characters. However, this will all turn out well in the universe of the first series. The Walking Dead. We could therefore expect connections between the two shows. While the direction of the series was entrusted to Channing Powell, we now learn by Deadline the first names in the casting.
Will thus be present in the series Terry Crews (well known to fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine), the experienced Anthony Edwards (Doctor Greene in Emergency), or Parker Posey. The latter, a figure of American independent cinema of the 1990s, was recently on Netflix in the series lost in space.
In addition to this trio, Deadline announces the presence of Poppy Liu and Jillian Bell. Details on their respective roles are not yet known. But more information should be given soon. Tales of the Walking Dead is planned for this summer on AMC. We do not yet know who will broadcast the series in France.
