Tales of Symphonia Remastered announced for PS4, Xbox One and Switch
The world of Sylvarant needs you to save it, again. Indeed, Tales of Symphonia is not his first return. Released in 2004 on GameCube, it was released on PS3 in 2013 in HD version in a Chronicles compilation, and on PC in 2016.
But Bandai Namco wants to make it known to as many people as possible and so here is Tales of Symphonia Remastered. A PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch version of this cult game.
Our goal with ToS Remastered is to bring this much-loved installment of the franchise to a whole new generation of fans. We intend to deliver an experience that’s true to the original, while appealing to a whole new audience of gamers, with enhancements that refresh the game visually and add new gameplay.
Summer Nguyen, Bandai Namco Entertainment America brand manager.
Visual improvements will be smoothed textures, 1080p or 720p resolution on the go on Switch. No higher framerate since it will be 30fps on all platforms. On the gameplay part, this version will have a local multiplayer mode for up to 3 players.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered will be released in early 2023 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
