While the first salvo of episodes of “Superman & Lois” is being broadcast on Salto, the streaming platform will offer in the wake of season 2 of the adventures of Clark Kent and his family from January 19, just after the US.
Good news for Superman & Lois fans: season 2 of the DC series led by Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will not be long in coming in France since it will be available in January on Salto, in the wake of American broadcast on The CW.
Launched on January 11 in the United States, the second season of the Kent family’s adventures in Smallville will be put online from January 19 on the French streaming platform, almost US + 24.
This difference is explained by the fact that the first season of Superman & Lois, added on December 3 to the Salto catalog, will probably end in France on Friday January 14, with the release of the last three episodes.
If the platform intends to offer season 2 in US + 24, as indicated in its press release, everything suggests that the first two episodes will be put online on January 19, before returning to a weekly rhythm of one episode each Wednesday from January 26, the day after the broadcast across the Atlantic.
After the final confrontation on which the first season ends, Smallville will try to get up and make a new start in the sequel to Syperman & Lois. But while something seems to be brewing in depth, many obstacles will complicate the daily life of the heroes.
While an old story will tarnish Lois’ professional credibility, her sons will not be spared either as Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) will face new challenges on the football field, while Jordan (Alex Garfin) will see his nascent relationship with Sarah (India Navarrette) falter.
And it is in this context that John Henry Irons and his daughter, just settled in town, will try to get closer to the Kents. Even though new enemies could emerge since season 2 of Superman & Lois will welcome several new faces.
Tyler Hoechlin’s former playing partner in Teen Wolf, Ian Bohen, will join the series in the recurring role of Mitch Anderson, the new “sheriff” of the Department of Defense (DOD) who does not appreciate Superman operating. outside the lines, while the actress Djouliet Amara (Riverdale) will lend her features to a high school student who has just landed at Smallville High who hides many secrets.
Note that Salto will also offer its subscribers in January to discover Roswell, New Mexico, the Roswell reboot launched in 2019 on The CW still. The first two seasons will be available from January 7 on the streaming platform.
First broadcast exclusively on Salto, Superman & Lois will arrive in the coming months on TF1.
