Adam Sandler is once again making a dramatic debut with Netflix’s NBA drama “Hustle”.
The first trailer for Adam Sandler’s latest movie “Hustle” under the production deal with Netflix has been shared. Sandler is both the lead role and producer of the film. Another producer of the sports drama “Hustle” is legendary basketball player LeBron James.
Adam Sandler plays the character of Stanley “Sugarman” Beren, the talent scout of the “Philadelphia 76ers” team. When Sugarman discovers an incredible once-in-a-lifetime talent, he takes it upon himself to bring the hard-hitting basketball player abroad to America without the team’s approval. Discovered playing basketball on the street in Spain, Bo Cruz and Sugarman have one last chance to prove they have what it takes to succeed in the NBA, against all odds, and against all odds.
The character of talented basketball player Bo Cruz is played by NBA player Juancho Hernangomez in the movie. Directed by Jeremiah Zagar, the film also stars Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Kenny Smith, Anthony Edwards, and Robert Duvall. “Hustle” was written by Will Fetters and Taylor Materne, who previously wrote screenplays for films such as “Remember Me”, and “The Lucky One” and received an Oscar nomination for “A Star is Born.”
