Paramount has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Canal+ in France. The operator of the French encrypted channel will therefore make Paramount+ available to its new subscribers to the Canal+ Ciné Séries and Canal+ packs Friends & Family. With regard to existing subscribers, Canal+ provides “very advantageous conditions” to add the Paramount+ offer to their pre-existing subscription but does not specify the amount of this supplement.
If you do not wish to subscribe to Paramount+ via the Canal Ciné Séries subscription, it is quite possible to subscribe directly via the Paramount+ application as soon as it is launched in France. The service has announced its price in France. He’s from 7.99€ per month, i.e. a price placement between that of Prime Video (€6.99) and Netflix and Disney+ (€8.99 for offers without advertising).
