Almost three years had toStranger Things” fans are waiting for new episodes of the acclaimed retro mystery hit, but today, May 27, 2022, the time has finally come: The fourth “Stranger Things’ season has launched on Netflix. And we deliberately write “started” here because – unlike most other Netflix series and the three previous “Stranger Things’ seasons – not all episodes were released at once.
In total, season 4 includes nine episodes and not just the seven that are now available. Anyone who fears after the mega cliffhanger at the end of episode 7 that they will have to wait a long time for the already confirmed fifth and final season can breathe a sigh of relief, because the rest of the current season will follow in a month’s time:
The second part of the fourth “Stranger Thingsseason will be released on Netflix on July 1, 2022. This can also be read at the very end of the said seventh episode, where there is also a small preview of the remaining episodes with a short teaser. So it’s worth staying tuned.
For the dichotomy of the fourth season “Stranger Things”The decision was made primarily so as not to completely overwhelm the viewers (and of course also to keep the new season in conversation a little longer), after all, Season 4 is the most complex and largest of the series to date – which is also reflected in their maturity. Part 1 alone, with a duration of over nine hours, is already longer than the respective seasons that came before.
In Part 2, we only have two more episodes to look forward to, but they are also pretty tough in terms of run length:
- Episode 8 will be 1 hour and 25 minutes long and thus penetrate into similar spheres as the 1 hour and 38 minutes long seventh episode.
- Episode 9 should even last around 2 (!) Hours and 30 minutes.
The upcoming season finale will be by far the longest with its extra-long feature film.Stranger Things” episode and thus the fitting crowning glory for an absolutely epic season, which we can only warmly recommend to you in our detailed review:
