After nearly three years of waiting, “Stranger Things” will finally make its big comeback. While waiting for fans to discover the new episodes of the series, American journalists have shared their first opinions on season 4. And these opinions are overwhelmingly positive.
The return of Stranger Things approach to big steps
After a (very) long wait, fans of Stranger Things will soon be able to finally immerse themselves in the universe of the series of Matt and Ross Duffer. Following the big cliffhanger at the end of season 3, the first part of the fourth chapter of the show will arrive on May 27 on Netflix. But a few lucky ones were able to discover the first episode before everyone else.

Thus, some members of the American press were able to attend the first episode of the fourth season of Stranger Things. Netflix did not allow them to upload their review until May 23. But the journalists were able to briefly share their first impressions via social networks. And the majority covered this first episode with a shower of compliments.
The best season of the series ?
Several of the journalists who attended the screening ensure that episode 1 of the new chapter of Stranger Things is darker than the previous ones. And they seem to think that this atmosphere will be present throughout the new season. More generally, several journalists believe that this new season could be the series’ best yet. Among them, we can cite Sophia Soto:
The first episode of season 4 of Stranger Things is immediately darker than what we have seen before and I loved that. The show is more mature, which represents how these characters and the fans have grown, while retaining the elements that make this series what it is.
Journalist for TheMoviePodcastDaniel Baptista had the same impression:
Season 4 episode 1 of Stranger Things sets the scene for the show’s darkest and scariest season. The ambition is massive, the cinematography is stunning, and the characters – both the regulars and the new ones – are incredible. I’m so happy to be back in this world.
Other journalists were even able to see several episodes of the new season. And like Grace Randolph, who evokes the insane budget of this new chapterthey are just as dithyrambic:
They spent $30 million per episode and… it shows. It’s fantastic. THE ULTIMATE, the MEGA movie of the 80s, better than all the movies of the 80s.
Brandon Matthews also goes in this direction:
I LOVED season 4 of Stranger Things. It’s the best of all seasons. A+++++. I can only review Episode 1 until May 23, but don’t miss it. He is simply amazing.
With all these positive reviews, fans will be waiting for the release of the new season of Stranger Things with even more impatience. Fortunately, there are only a few weeks left before we can finally see the new episode burst of the phenomenon series.
