True crime junkies and podcast producers Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) finally get a new case in Only Murders In The Building: Bunny Fogler (Jayne Houdyshell), the chief executive of the resident community of the luxury Manhattan apartment building where the three unlikely friends live has been shockingly killed.
The trio immediately set about investigating. Unfortunately, there are some complications involved. After disagreements with Bunny in the past, they are suddenly considered murder suspects themselves. Which doesn’t exactly simplify their investigations and questioning of the suspicious neighbors. To make matters worse, a rival podcaster is trying to frame the trio…
Less than ten months after the series debut Season 2 of Only Murders In The Building on June 28, 2022 exclusively on the Disney+ streaming service. Ten episodes with a running time of approx. 30 minutes were ordered again.

Comedy legend Steve Martin (“One Ticket for Two”, “The Little Shop of Horrors”), who also takes on one of the leading roles, co-created the series with John Hoffmann. To date, the latter has written screenplays for successful series such as “Looking” or the Netflix hit “Grace And Frankie”. Dan Fogelman (“This Is Us”) responsible.
In addition to Martin, Broadway star Martin Short (“Three Amigos”) and Selena Gomez complete the trio of protagonists. Former Disney Channel teen star Gomez is one of the most successful pop singers of the last decade. She has also made a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in films such as Spring Breakers, Bad Neighbors 2 and Jim Jarmusch’s zombie satire The Dead Don’t Die.
New to the series main cast is Cara Delevingne. The British catwalk model has long been established as an actress. Her best-known roles to date have been in the films Valerian and Life In A Year, as well as in the fantasy series Carnivale Row on Amazon Prime Video.
Also recurring and guest-starring are Michael Rapaport (“Atypical”) as the cop, Hollywood veteran Shirley MacLaine (“The Apartment,” “Steel Magnolias”) as the victim’s mother, and comedian Amy Schumer (“Girls Strip”) fictionalized version of herself.
