SteelSeries is launching two new versions of its Aerox 3 Wireless and Aerox 3 mice. Without looking any further, know that they are named Aerox 3 and Aerox 3 Wireless 2022. Quite a symbol.
SteelSeries Steps Up Releases, Unveils 2022 Versions Of Classics Aerox 3 and Aerox 3 Wireless. The name of the product is clearly a clue, as you will understand. And unsurprisingly, we are still dealing with ultra light mice. As you can see above in the overview video, the changes are not legion.
Very few changes
Indeed, in the row of novelties we find 100% PTFE pads as well as a new color which is soberly baptized Snow. It is therefore mainly an improved version and not a completely new version. These 2022 editions versions are therefore still based on the lightness of the product with respectively 59 grams and 68 grams (for the wireless version). Despite the number of cells in the frame, we still have an IP54 certification, against dust and liquid projections.
Very healthy bases from SteelSeries
To learn a little more about the 2021 model, we can only advise you to read our test on the subject. Apart from the white color, in terms of design we always find RGB on 3 zones.
If the changes are few, we can at least underline that the base for 2021 is particularly qualitative with the return of the TrueMove Air sensor adjustable from 200 to 18,000 DPI for the wireless version. The wired version still offers the TrueMove Core SteelSeries.
Finally, the battery life is still 80 hours in 2.4 GHz and 200 hours in Bluetooth for the Aerox 3 Wireless. Which is still amazing.
The wired version is at 59 euros and the wireless version is at 100 euros.
