Diego Luna will not be the only known “Star Wars’ face that we’ll see in the series on Disney+. A central role is played by former Senator Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly), who is a co-founder and leader of the rebellion after the fall of the Republic.
Other roles we will see include Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona and Fiona Shaw in “Star Wars: Andor”.
“Star Wars: Andor is slated to come to Disney+ in August 2022.
On the Star Wars Celebration, which we’re attending, has also confirmed that the first season will consist of 12 episodes and will take place around five years before “Rogue One”. A second season has already been confirmed and will also have twelve episodes. This will then flow directly into “Rogue One”.
