Starship Troopers: a faithful and nag FPS is on the way

Starship Troopers will soon return in an explosive and cooperative shooter. It’s going to butcher arachnids!

Announced as if nothing had happened, Starship Troopers: Extermination appears as a nag Left 4 Dead like and playable in cooperation up to 12 players. Equipped with guns as big as themselves, the fighters will have to fight their way through gigantic hordes of Arachnids and other alien insectoid creatures.

Starship Troopers is hiring exterminators!

Like in the movies, Starship Troopers: Extermination intends to put the package in terms of guts.
In addition to being able to go into the field in a squad of 12, the title will give access to 3 different classes when it is released in Early Access: Assault, Support and Defender.

It will also be possible to develop and improve each of these specialties by taking advantage of a complete arsenal ranging from the machine gun to the sniper through the assault rifle and the grenade launcher. In addition to objectives to accomplish in the vein of a Back 4 Blood or Left 4 Dead (defend a point, clear an area, etc.), Starship Troopers: Extermination will also feature tower defense elements with the ability to build outposts and reinforce them with a whole host of tools.

Moreover, it will be necessary to manage its resources and go to harvest them in the environment by releasing mining stations or destroying nests.
The fights will take place in a vast open map divided into several sectors that will have to be cleared. The creatures will obviously be there in very large numbers and will attack your defenses in gigantic hordes. Moreover, the developers inform us that the Arachnids will be more and more dangerous and numerous over time. Note that when it is released, the game will only have 5 different types of enemies: Drones, Warriors, Shooters, Plasma, Grenadiers and Tigers Elites.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is expected in Early Access on PC (via Steam) from next year, but does not yet have a precise date.
