Expected for sometime in 2022, will the Star Wars series dedicated to “Obi-Wan Kenobi” unveil its first trailer?
It is one of the most anticipated series in 2022: official sequel to the prelogy, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will follow the unpublished adventures of the Jedi knight camped by Ewan McGregor. The opportunity to reunite with his former padawan who became Sith, Darth Vader (who will see his interpreter Hayden Christensen also make a comeback in the franchise).
Expected for this year, the series has not yet revealed any official images or release date on the Disney Plus platform; last November, some concept art was revealed during the Disney + Day convention, the opportunity to discover a very first glimpse of the appearance of the Jedi in this event series.
But a trailer could soon be unveiled, according to one of the actors of the program, Rory Ross (via ComicBook.com). If he only plays a very secondary role in the series (that of a Stormtrooper; he already played a Tusken in The Book of Boba Fett), the latter explained why the Kenobi trailer has not yet was broadcast:
Many fans are wondering why the trailer hasn’t been released yet. I think the main reason is that Lucasfilm wants to make sure it’s as neat as possible, so it comes out error-free like the coffee cup in Game of Thrones or whatever it might have eluded them.
The actor’s remarks refer to a false connection that has become legendary, namely the presence of a Starbucks coffee cup placed prominently during a scene in the final season of Game of Thrones. Digitally removed from the episode since, this glaring error had nevertheless aroused many mockeries on social networks.
It will therefore be necessary to be patient before hoping to discover the first official images of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Until then, fans will have plenty to chew on with the broadcast every Wednesday of episodes of the Book of Boba Fett, to discover exclusively on Disney +!
