With Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett coming to an end, it’s time to look towards a bright future where one Star Wars project led to another. Right now, more mysteries are swirling around the series, especially cinematic, than the exact release dates. So what do we know for sure? Disney Plus has already announced a massive Star Wars roster.
Since Star Wars began as a movie, our hearts tend to yearn for big-screen stories. The sequel trilogy is over and we’re ready for more. To satisfy those desires, Lucasfilm announced three dates for three feature films: December 22, 2023, December 19, 2025, and December 17, 2027. It was initially believed that Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron would drop to the top spot, however, this film suffered a delay. It’s still on the table, but the December 22 date looks a little optimistic now.
Films directed by Taika Waititi, Kevin Feige, JD Dillard, and Rian Johnson are waiting in line for dates to change. Yes, Johnson’s return seems unlikely, but there has been no official cancellation, and Until Lucasfilm says otherwise We are trying to keep our hope alive. Star Wars in 2022 will stay on the small screen unless there’s a big surprise on the horizon.
The Disney Plus shows we’re most confident we’ll see in 2022 or early 2023 at the latest are included in this file. Most have confirmed production schedules, though only one has an exact launch date. Beyond these five series, we’re hopeful we’ll finally get The Acolyte, Lando, and animated feature A Droid’s Story. Plans and dates change, however, it’s impossible to ignore Star Wars fans.
