One month before its release on Disney +, The Book of Boba Fett is revealed a little more with a new teaser. The Star Wars bounty hunter returns to Tatooine ready to rule.
Announced at the end of season 2 of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett will be released on December 29 on Disney +. This series centers on the legendary bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), introduced in the show worn by Pedro Pascal and also appeared in The Bad Batch.
Temuera Morrison is reprising her title role in The Book of Boba Fett, after playing it in The Mandalorian. As a reminder, the actor also camped Jango Fett and the clone soldiers in the last two parts of the Star Wars prelogy.
In The Book of Boba Fett, the bounty hunter returns to the midst of the Tatooine Dunes to claim the territory, which was once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. If the first trailer left no doubt as to Boba’s determination, this new teaser confirms the bounty hunter’s desire to establish his authority on the planet with two suns.
Even if we know that The Book of Boba Fett is between The Return of the Jedi and The Awakening of the Force, the plot of this series conceived by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni still remains secret but we hope for some flashbacks, in particular for explain how Boba Fett survived his fall into the mouth of Sarlacc.
At the casting level, only Jennifer Beals (The L World) has been confirmed in a role still kept secret. Note that Robert Rodriguez, who had directed the introductory episode of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian, is credited with the production of the series.
