In December 2021, shortly before the release of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, a video was already interested in the ravages of the multiverse. A hilarious concept through which different Peter Parkers die in appalling circumstances.
Spiderman: an ubiquitous superhero for 20 years
Last December, Jon Watts granted the wish of millions of fans. With Spider-Man: No Way Home the director confronted the superhero played by Tom Holland with the dangers of the multiverse following the disastrous fate of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Peter Parker has thus crossed and faced enemies from other dimensions and other sagas, including Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe), Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), and Electro (Jamie Foxx).
The young man has especially teamed up with his namesakes from parallel universes interpreted by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, to the delight of admirers of the weaver. This long-awaited association has unsurprisingly met with success in dark rooms. The feature film has almost reached $ 1.9 billion at the global box office, establishing itself as the biggest card of 2021and from afar.
The ravages of the multiverse
If the alliance between the three Spider-Man worked well in No Way Homedespite heavy consequences for the character played by Tom Holland, a video leaned on situations that could have gone wrong for the various Peter Parkers. A hilarious concept was uploaded to the YouTube channel Corridor a few days before the release of Jon Watts’ film.
On these images appear well-known passages, such as that of Spider Man 2 where Spider-Man manages to stop a train, or the fatal fall of Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in The Amazing Spider-Man: A Hero’s Fate. But each time, these scenes end in a much more violent way, with a particularly bloody death for poor Peter.
Executions orchestrated by Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), the agent of the Court of Anachronistic Variations appeared in Loki, tasked with making the most incompetent Spider-Man disappear. Sole survivor: the arrogant Peter Parker of Spider Man 3whose demonic dance is taken up in a slightly scabrous way.
