Three weeks before the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film continues to reveal itself through promotional videos. The latest one shows us in particular a conversation between two “Doctors” of the Marvel universe, Strange and Octopus.
30 seconds. Sony didn’t need more to make fans’ mouths water with a Spider-Man: No Way Home TV spot (a new poster of which was also shared on social media) in which the heroes of the film discuss the multiverse.
If in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the multiverse was just one big joke of Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), this set of universes is now very real, as Peter (Tom Holland) understands in this new video.
As proof, after having fought Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina, straight from Spider-Man 2 of Sam Raimi) on a bridge, the Spider-Man talks with the villain (maybe not so bad) but also Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).
A conversation in which the scientist with the bionic tentacles assures that he knows a Peter Parker who is Spider-Man but does not have the face of the young man in front of him, thus confirming that he comes from a parallel universe . The Weaver he knows is of course Tobey Maguire!
To discover more about the multiverse and finally to know whether or not the former interpreters of Spider-Man will lend a hand to Tom Holland in his fight against the Green Goblin, Electro, the Lizard and the Sandman, go to theaters on December 15th.
