On the eve of its French release, “Spider-Man No Way Home” throws the counters into a panic: the pre-sales of places exceed those of “Kaamelott” which had already set a record last July.
Spider-Man even stronger than Kaamelott! As Sony Pictures announced in a press release, more than 250,000 pre-sales have already been registered for No Way Home, which will be released everywhere in France from tomorrow. These are the best pre-sales for the year 2021.
The score is even stronger than the franchise of Alexandre Astier which, in 24 hours, last July, had sold more than 60,000 seats. It was a pre-sales record for a French film.
For the record, presales are also very well launched on the US side. While no amount was released, Spider-Man: No Way Home only needed two hours to supplant Black Widow’s score. A good indicator of a possible future success, which should bring smiles to cinemas, after a gloomy year.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe started in 2008 with Iron Man and the 4th in Phase IV, after Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and The Eternals.
