If many Internet users were persuaded to have recognized Charlie Cox, alias Daredevil in the Netflix series of the same name, in the trailer for Spider-Man No Way Home, the actor recently denied the information.
First images of Peter Parker’s third solo MCU adventure revealed last week caused a stir, trailer even broke the 24 hour view record previously owned by Avengers: Endgame. It has also provoked many theories on the Web, in particular on the presence of a certain Daredevil in a scene.
Indeed, during a passage at the beginning of the trailer, Peter (Tom Holland) seems to be in the presence of a lawyer whose face we cannot distinguish, but only the silhouette and then the forearms. Very quickly a rumor ignited the Web: what if it was Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer who turns into a vigilante masked at night under the name of Daredevil?
Especially since the presence of this hero, played by Charlie Cox during the 3 seasons of the eponymous Netflix series, in Spider-Man No Way Home had already been subject to hallway noise for a while. Yet interviewed by ComicBook.com, the actor was very clear: “I can promise you these aren’t my forearms.“

If the British actor denies being present in the trailer, this does not necessarily mean that he will not appear at all in Jon Watts’ film… He was in any case less categorical during his virtual interview with Steve varley who asked him about fan theories.
“I wouldn’t want to ruin something either way. You know what I mean ? So that makes me a little anxious, it’s hard to talk about it. All I’ll say is everyone including me is going to have to wait and see what happens“, he indicated. Answer on December 15 at the cinema.
