A character from Avengers: Endgame was supposed to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home but his presence was ultimately not retained in the final cut.
A worldwide box office hit, Spider-Man: No Way Home concludes the Spider-Man trilogy as Tom Holland with the presence of a host of characters, including super villains from previous iterations of Peter Parker, such as the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) or Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina).
But this third installment of Spider-Man MCU version should have seen another character appear. And this protagonist, seen in Avengers: Endgame, is intimately linked to Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), the late mentor of Peter Parker.
A character related to Iron Man
This is Morgan Stark, the daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), played by Lexi Rabe. The young actress has indeed revealed in a video posted on her Instagram account that she was to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In this video illustrated with photos of her during the premiere of the film with Tom Holland or Zendaya, she indicates that “it doesn’t [la] don’t mind that [son] passage has been cut “ during assembly, that “the movie was amazing” and that she “hope to be able to tour again soon” in an upcoming MCU project.
Lexi Rabe specifies that the studio had requested to use her image but that her presence was ultimately not kept in No Way Home. Impossible for the moment to know if it was just a presence in photography or if the young actress had indeed shot a scene.
But as Screen Rant As mentioned, the 9-year-old actress was seen in Atlanta, the main filming location for No Way Home, at the time of production. It is therefore not impossible that she shot a scene, with Tom Holland or with Jon Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan.
The latter has also hung drawings of Morgan Stark in his apartment, one of the important places of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Failing to see the young girl in the film, this detail in the background reminds us that Happy is still invested in the life of the daughter of his late friend Tony Stark.
The last time Morgan Stark was seen in the MCU was at Tony Stark’s funeral in Avengers: Endgame and it’s not impossible for the girl to return in future Marvel Universe projects like the Armor Wars series or Iron Heart planned on Disney + which will explore the legacy of Iron Man.
It remains to be seen whether Lexi Rabe will reprise her role as Morgan Stark or whether Katherine Langford will be told to play the daughter, in an older version, of Tony Stark. As a reminder, the actress of 13 Reasons Why had shot a scene with Robert Downey Jr., planned in Avengers: Endgame, which had finally been cut during the editing.
