Rumors continue to swirl around Spider-Man: No Way Home. The latest would like Kirsten Dunst, aka Mary Jane Watson from Sam Raimi’s films, to join the cast.
According to rumors from the halls, the third solo adventure of Spider-Man version Tom Holland is expected to explore the parallel realities of the Marvel Universe. This is why several figures from previous franchises devoted to Spider-Man could indeed appear in the film.
So far, only the presence of Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina has been confirmed. The first had played the villainous Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014 and the second had lent his traits to Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2 in 2004.
However, a rumor that the Peter Parkers these two villains faced, respectively Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, are also in the game continues to run despite the current Spider-Man, Tom Holland, denied the information…
And it is now the turn of another star to have marked the universe of the Weaver to be at the heart of the discussions: Kirsten Dunst. The latter was indeed seen in the Sunset Gower studios in Los Angeles, city where reshoots of Spider-Man: No Way Home could take place at the moment.
A very thin connection which does not in any way allow us to confirm the presence of Mary Jane in Jon Watts’ film, due in theaters on December 15, but which at least allows a glimmer of hope!
