From Middle-earth to the far reaches of the Star Wars galaxy, passing through the jungles of Jurassic Park, he never refuses a small trip to the greatest sagas of cinema. Child of the 90s, creator of the programs Give Me Five and Big Fan Theory, he has been writing for DashFUN since 2010.

Present on the stage of the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show this weekend, comedian Tom Welling, famous singer of Clark Kent in “Smallville”, revealed what was the ending he had dreamed of for the series.

May 2011. After 10 seasons and a total of 218 episodes, the Smallville series – which allowed us to explore Superman’s youth in detail – is coming to an end. On the program of the final episode: a marriage interrupted by a super-villain, the unexpected return of Lex Luthor, a final anthology face-to-face and a Clark Kent finally ready to don the famous red cape.

Yet despite its many qualities, this final could have taken on an even more epic dimension if the dream of Tom Welling, the show’s lead actor, had come true.

Invited on the stage of the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show this weekend, the interpreter of the young superhero has indeed revealed to our colleagues of TV-Leisure that he had always imagined another ending for the series … and a conclusion marked by the appearance of a billionaire well known to DC Comics fans.

“(…) I always thought it would have been cool to see if Lex Luthor had met Bruce Wayne aka Batman “, he confided. “We could have seen Clark flying away, then another scene right at the end of the show with Lex in his office. Someone walking in and saying, ‘My name is Bruce Wayne.’ I’m shivering nothing. than thinking about it. “

Even if the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight would not have a priori not physically crossed in this alternate ending, the conclusion imagined by Tom Welling would still have allowed Lex Luthor, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne to meet in the same episode 5 years before Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman.

Would you have been convinced by such an outcome?
