She-Hulk: the absence of this forbidden iconic superhero is disappointing

Only a few hours left before the arrival of She-Hulk on Disney+, one of the big novelties of August 2022. While waiting to find out if it will be a hit or a flop, director Jessica Gao has revealed some interesting behind-the-scenes details including the difficulty of using Marvel characters. Especially a…

Spider-Man banned from appearing in She-Hulk

While Spider-Man weaves his web quietly in the video game, we learn that the spider-man played by Tom Holland in the cinema could have been in She-Hulk. Finally still would it have been necessary that the director of the TV show has the right…

In an interview with The Direct, the creator of She Hulk: Avocate made a confidence that was not surprising in the end but which will disappoint more than one. Spider-Man is one of the Marvel characters that is very difficult to have custody of for a project.

There were a lot of characters from the comics that we wanted for funny situations where we could imagine reasons why they would get in legal trouble. But there were a lot of characters from the comics that we couldn’t use. Either because of a rights issue or because of Marvel… all they would tell us was that they had other plans for them. And that’s the only answer they gave. We really tried everything to get a little more information, but of course they wouldn’t tell us.

I will say that the only character from the MCU that we didn’t get to use, and that really disappointed the writers, was Spider-Man and any other character that revolves around his universe. Because we have so many Spider-Man fans on our team.

Is the small screen not good enough for such a superhero? Possible but we will not know more. Daredevil will be good for him in She-Hulk with others like Hulk played by Mark Ruffalo, Wong de Doctor Strange etc If the success is there, maybe Spidey will be cleared out.

She Hulk will debut this Thursday, August 18 exclusively on Disney+.
