Servant : the Apple series produced by Shyamalan
Faced with Disney +, Netflix, Amazon or even HBO, Apple TV + has a little more trouble establishing itself as a must-have service in the television landscape. It certainly lacks titles that manage to create a massive popular craze to take it a step further. Nevertheless, we find in the catalog exclusives that are worth the detour. As Servant, fantasy series produced by M. Night Shyamalan. The latter is back in the foreground, after a disturbing slump.
His particular style is reflected in this show which tells how a couple (Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbell) try to rebuild themselves after the loss of a child. In order to try to cope with this almost impossible mourning, they decide to use a doll to replace their missing baby. The situation becomes worrying when a nanny (Nell Tiger Free) arrives in the home to take care of this doll. Who is she ? Why is she behaving strangely? We have already had some answers in the first two seasons and the series has benefited from good reception from the public.
Season 3 is coming next January
Followers will therefore be able to continue to immerse themselves in the disturbing universe of Servant with a third season. This is revealed in a first teaser released by Apple. Leanne is particularly highlighted, with her fear of being found by the sect from which she escaped. The series has managed to reverse our perspective on her and make her a character we want to follow, when she was initially presented as a disturbing motif. On this point, we feel the Shyamalan touch, who knows how to reverse situations to surprise the audience. We can’t wait to see which direction will go Servant with these new episodes. A priori, it should not be the last season since it was not announced as such.
Season 3 is expected on Apple TV + in next january, without a specific date being communicated.
