Last week, Microsoft unveiled the first list of games that would include the Xbox Game Pass subscription in the coming weeks. It was without counting on a surprise guest.

There was already plenty to do, since must land in the Game Pass by December 14 will arrive ANVIL, Archvale, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lawn Mowing Simulator, Rubber Bandits, Stardew Valley, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, Space Warlord Organ, Trading Simulator, One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, Aliens Fireteam Elite and Among Us. Ah, and a certain Halo Infinite too, sorry.

And yet, it was without counting on a last minute surprise, since the Microsoft Store page dedicated to a certain Serious Sam 4 (so no, not the 2014 Serious Sam 4, the one releasing today on Xbox Series X | S, in this case) mentions the presence of the prequel in the games available through Xbox Game Pass.

Game Pass Pass Tour

You will have understood it: the Xbox Series X | S version of the FPS which did not raise the crowds when it was originally released last year is therefore available “day one” on new generation consoles from Microsoft. The oh how timid reception of the press and the players he explains this almost passing in silence? Mystery.

On the other hand, its availability concerns only the new generation versions, since the Xbox One and other PCs are not listed among the compatible platforms. We can bet that this last minute addition will still allow a few curious to form their own idea of the possible flaws and / or qualities of Croteam’s game.

Remember that the Xbox Game Pass costs 9.99 euros per month on console and PC (first month at 1 euro) and that the Game Pass Ultimate, which includes the Gold subscription required for multiplayer and allows play on Android mobile phones and tablets in the Cloud, requires 12.99 euros per month.
