For the detective film “See How They Run”, Irish actress Saoirse Ronan and American Sam Rockwell team up to find out who killed a famous director. Check out the movie trailer.
A murder case to solve
Cap on the 50s, the star system, and the city of London in See How They Run. For his first film as a director, Tom George sets his plot behind the scenes of the theatre.
While several stars have just played the hundredth performance of a popular play, Hollywood director Leo Köpernick (Adrien Brody) is found murdered. Inspector Stoppard and his teammate Constable Stalker lead the investigation and try to unravel the true from the false in this delicate affair.
A very nice cast
Hercule Poirot style, Sam Rockwell turns into an investigator during the film. Saoirse Ronan accompanies him, as an investigator pronouncing the most hasty conclusions possible. Both face the cast of the play. Each of them appears as a potential suspect – and as a potential future victim. Ruth Wilson, Reece Shearsmith, Harris Dickinson, Charlie Cooper and David Oyelowo need to be on their toes – all present in the distribution of See How They Run.
The first images of the trailer show an applied staging and photography for this “whodunit”, and an attractive return to the 50s. In France, the feature film does not have a release date for the moment. Across the Atlantic, it will land in September in dark rooms.
